FIBERGLASS FURY – WITH A TWIST
Kurt Borton, aka Memphis Raines, built a small-tire, no-prep Corvette designed to race anywhere and everywhere. With roots tracing back to his father Gene’s road-racing days and their family business Mid Coast Performance, this 1981 Corvette is a true shop-built weapon featuring chassis fabrication, race electronics, tuning, and plenty of speed!
JUNKYARD DOG
Zach Edwards’ Chevy Nova has a serious bite! As owner of Pyle M Up Sales & Salvage in Richwoods, Missouri, Zach knows how to build smart and make every dollar count. From buying and building cars since the age of 13 to growing up watching Horsepower TV instead of cartoons, his passion for performance runs deep.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACER
From Mead, Colorado, Chris Lucarelli made the jump from imports to domestic power with this brutally quick New Edge Mustang GT. After learning the craft by modifying and painting his first car himself, Chris took that hands-on approach and created one impressive machine.
LAW & ORDER – Horsepower Revisited
Mick McGirr’s First Gen Camaro is the perfect combination of grit and horsepower. Purchased back in 2004 while he was in college, the car started life with a tired 350 and slipping Turbo 400 — but Mick’s vision turned it into the aggressive street machine it is today.
