These B&M cables are a must for 2003-2006 Jeep Wrangler owners. They replace the failure-prone Z-linkage with zinc-plated steel ends and a bigger (.425-inch) cable to provide solid, long-lasting transfer case gear selections. The 48-inch long cable is an excellent option for lifted builds and the powder coated brackets will provide years of trouble-free shifts. This cable is compatible with the factory shifter but also compliments any aftermarket shifter designed to use a factory cable.
P/N 81184 fits: 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ), 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ), 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) and 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche (MJ) with the NP231 or NP242 transfer cases.
P/N 81186 fits the 2003-2006 Jeep Rubicon TJ and LJ with the NP241OR transfer case.
