Twin Bees – Separated At Birth
Two beautiful Super Bees with an interesting twist. A 1969 ½ 440 6 Pack 4 speed Super Bee that was Dan Lowe’s first car back in 1972. And 30 years later, a basket case 1969 ½ 440 6 Pack Super Bee shows up in Dan’s garage. They were built the same day, a few cars apart of each other and in fact were the ONLY 440 6 Pack cars built that day!
BEE ONE Way back in 1972, as a 15 year old boy, Dan Lowe used to sit on his porch and listen to the rumble of his neighbor’s 1969 ½ 440 6 pack 4 speed Super Bee as it came down the road, all the while dreaming of the day he’d be able to bang gears and generally wreak havoc on the GM and Ford guys of his town. Dan had always loved that Super Bee and thought it would be perfect if only it was parked in a driveway one over from where it sat—namely his driveway.
