You don’t have to choose between performance and style when upgrading your vehicle. Nobody knows this better than Lokar. Its cable assemblies, shifters and shifter knobs, pedal assemblies, dash panels, and other products are designed to perform flawlessly and look terrific. Hi-Tech Cables
Hi-Tech throttle and kickdown cables have stainless steel cable covered by an extruded inner liner to prevent kinking and binding. Available with stainless steel braided, black stainless steel braided, or black polyethylene outer coverings, the cables are easy to trim to fit your application. Summit Racing also carries Hi-Tech cruise control cables and blower drive throttle cables for BDS, Enderle, and Weiand superchargers with side-mount carburetors.
Throttle Pedal Assemblies
Lokar throttle pedal assemblies are available in several styles. Versions for drive-by-wire applications are also available:
Floor Mount throttle pedals eliminate the hassle of routing cables through the firewall. The Eliminator Series pedals come with ball-milled or rubber pad inserts, or choose the Midnight Series black anodized pedal with a rubber pad insert.
Designed with input from Goolsby Customs, the Goolsby Edition throttle pedals have a round pad with a knobbed rubber insert. The firewall-mount steel pedals have a splined and removable lower arm, Delrin bushings for smooth operation, and a 1/2″-20 mounting stud compatible with most aftermarket brake and clutch arms. Your choice of raw, chrome, or black finishes.
The Spoon and Lakester throttle pedals have that vintage 1940s lake bed racer vibe. The Spoon pedal is solid while the Lakester has ‘lightening’ holes. The steel pedals have the same operating features as the Goolsby Edition pedals and come in natural, chrome, or black finishes.
Shifters
Lokar shifters feature Lokar’s patented Safety Lock-Out button built into the shift knob to prevent accidental shifting from park into reverse, drive, and low gears. The shifters are available in several styles, lengths, and knob designs including:
• The Nostalgia Shifter with double bends in the handle
• The Radical 32 Shifter with a 32” long single or double-bent handle
• The Bench Bend Shifter designed for use with bench seats—perfect for pickups
Dash Panel Inserts
Summit Racing offers two styles of Lokar billet aluminum dash panel inserts:
The Goolsby Edition panel insert is available with engine turned, mother of pearl, and tortoise shell inlays and three control knobs that work with most aftermarket switches. It is drilled for one 3 3/8 inch center gauge and four 2 1/16 inch gauges.
The Oval panel inserts feature a recessed face and LEDs for turn signal and high beam functions. They are available drilled for AutoMeter, VDO, Stewart Warner, Classic Instruments, and Dakota Digital gauges in two-, five-, and six-gauge configurations.
