The National Drag Racing Association has set the bar for another great season of ground-shattering, edge of your seat thrills. The finicky floppers are back for another dose of show-stopping, extreme horsepower action.The 2016 drag racing season marks the Fifth Anniversary for the National Drag Racing Association Alcohol Funny Car Series. Three events have been confirmed with the NDRA, with chances of other events being added on at a later date. The first event will be held on the Victoria Day weekend May 20, 21, and 22, followed by the Seventh Annual Nitro Nationals on the Canada Day weekend July 1,2, 3. And finishing up with the Canadian Alcohol Funny Car Championships held on the Labour Day weekend September 2,3,4. These three events will be held at the legendary Toronto Motorsports Park-Cayuga Dragway, ON. The National Drag Racing Association looks forward again to partnering with track owner Uli Bieri and track manager, Neale Armstrong.
Will Kardiac Kids Racing Tyler Scott be able to hold off the rest of the pack again this season to take the crown once again? Or will one of the other teams be able to knock them off the podium? The NDRA Alcohol Funny Cars will push their 3,000 hp powerhouse motors to the limit for series points, cash prizes and bragging rights!
