Corona, CA (Jan 20, 2015): Protect The Harvest – the nationwide initiative founded by oil magnate Forrest Lucas will co-host, with the Indiana Council for Animal Welfare (ICAW), the 2nd Annual Meet & Greet at the Indiana State Capital on Thursday morning, January 22, 2015. In attendance will be local and national leaders including Indiana Governor Mike Pence, Lt. Governor Sue Elsperman, plus all members of the Indiana State Senate, House of Representatives and Agency heads. Out of State VIP’s will include Cynthia Daliuse, President of the New York Pet Welfare Association and Dr. Cindy Buckmaster, Chair of Americans for Medical Progress at Baylor University. Volunteers from Future Farmers of America (FFA) will be in attendance to lend a hand.
Starting at 9:00am, the five hour program will feature a light breakfast followed by an 11:30am lunch. Speakers will include Missouri State Representatives Sonya Anderson and Sandy Crawford plus Blake Hurst, Missouri Farm Bureau President. Special guest speaker will be Forrest Lucas, President of Protect The Harvest. Forrest Lucas created Protect The Harvest in 2011 to fight back and defend American families, farmers, sportsmen and animal owners from the growing threat posed by the radical animal rights movement.
