FUELAB Prodigy Electric Fuel Pumps not only deliver the fuel flow you need to feed engines making up to 1,800 horsepower, they let you control the flow rate. Prodigy fuel pumps come from the factory set to run in continuous-duty mode for maximum fuel delivery. You can add a switch to flip between full- and reduced-speed modes. Run the pump full-speed at the track, then switch it to reduced-speed on the street without worrying about vapor-lock or overheating the pump.
What really sets the Prodigy pumps apart is the internal speed controller for variable-speed operation—no add-on voltage regulators or pump controllers required. You can use a FUELAB 529 Series Electronic Fuel Pressure Regulator to automatically regulate pump speed based on fuel demand, or hook the pump directly to a Pulse Wave Modulator (PWM) signal from an aftermarket EFI engine management system to regulate pump speed.
FUELAB Prodigy Electric Fuel Pumps have a ‘wet’ DC brushless motor with a low mass rotor that allows the pump to react quickly to changes in speed and fuel flow. The design draws less current and has no brushes or seals to corrode or wear out, making the Prodigy pumps compatible with gasoline, diesel, methanol, and ethanol fuels.
Prodigy External Fuel Pumps
FUELAB Prodigy External Fuel Pumps are available in versions that can feed carbureted and EFI engines making from 700 to 1,800 horsepower. The positive displacement pumps have a nine-vane design with a pressure-balanced rotor for maximum reliability. The pump sits in a billet aluminum housing that is shaped for extremely quiet operation and steady fuel pressure.
FUELAB Prodigy External Fuel Pumps work with 12- and 16-volt electrical systems and are available with -8 or -10 AN inlets and outlets.
Prodigy Power Module In-Tank Fuel Pumps
Prodigy In-Tank Fuel Pumps are designed for used with factory tanks or aftermarket fuel cells using a FUELAB Power Module Install Kit or Fabricator Install Kit. Available in versions for carbureted engines making up to 1,000 horsepower and EFI engines making up to 1,800 horsepower, the pumps have the same positive-displacement design as the external-mount pump.
The Power Module In-Tank Fuel Pumps have a sealing flange system that allows easy servicing and eliminates the need to strap multiple pumps together, splice tee fittings and hoses, or run wires inside your tank. The pumps can also be used with jet pumps to efficiently transfer fuel in saddle-style tanks or tanks with internal sumps and baffles.
