And just like that, another month has gone by. With everyone beginning to prepare for Christmas, show season has begun. SEMA is complete, PRI will be underway shortly and then the cars take their long winter’s naps. We want to thank all of the people who support RPM Magazine and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas as we present to you the December 2025 issue of RPM Mag!
FEATURE CAR – LEGEND OF PRO STREET – Mike Hayden reunites with Pro Street Champion Bob Rieger’s ’57 Chevy for a comeback tour. The Pro Street movement saw race cars that had been turned into street cars go racing once again…Eventually it became a sanctioned racing class and cars were purpose built just for it, with full-tube chassis machines becoming the norm.
HEAVEN’S DEVIL – Jesse James is ready to take on the growing 4.84 class with his nitrous injected Mustang. The small-tire drag racing scene continues to evolve since it became a national phenomenon in the early ’90s. Like many Floridians in their early 20’s James got behind the wheel of his first Mustang in 1996.
I DID THAT! – John Potucek turned this $500 project into a 7-second street machine. Being hands on with your own project car gives you a lot of things in return, including having the end result become a reflection of your vision and hard work. There are many other benefits to doing it yourself…
