Lawrence & Greg Wicklum, along with all of us at Engineered Racing Services and all of our 2024 ERS Race teams, are proud to announce that Spencer Hyde, the Spencer Hyde Racing Team & the famed JACK & THE GREEN STOCK, are now part of the ERS TEAM CANADA RACING PROGRAM 2024.
Spencer began his drag racing career with Junior Dragsters at the age of 14, moved up to Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Outlaw 10.5, Pro Mod, and has recently earned his license in the Paton Family Top Fuel Dragster, also part of the ERS Drag Racing Team.
Spencer has had a very successful career both locally within the Ultimate Showdown Series and south of the border with the PDRA. However, the biggest race win of his career came just last year at the Inaugural World Series of Pro Mod in Bradenton, Florida. In a nail-biting situation, Spencer finally qualified in the 32nd position on the final qualifying pass and drove his way through 5 rounds to win the event. He will forever be known as the First Winner of the World Series of Pro Mod.
Hyde writes, “I am super excited to have Engineered Racing Services on board for 2024. They have a great online platform to order all your hot rod parts and accessories. I was able to represent them when I ran the Paton Family Top Fuel car in Pomona last year, and now they are on the side of the Green Stock. That’s pretty cool.”
