Ian Hill Racing Productions (IHRP) is pleased to release our 2020 race schedule. The 7-race schedule will see the Heads Up Street Car Shootout Series – powered by Maxima Racing Oil and the RPM Magazine Smackdown4 races being held at St. Thomas Raceway Park will Unfinished Business returns to NYIRP – Lancaster Dragway in NY. We are still in negotiations for a couple of other events we look forward to hosting/ co-hosting in 2020 as well we look forward to attending Quebec Grudge Wars’ June 2020 Small Tire Shootout.
Heads Up – Street Car Shootout Series
Powered by Maxima Racing Oil continues from our inaugural 2019 season. The same classes will be run with a few extras added in! The series will see a continuation of a similar points structure and record-breaking performance recording for Super Street, EZ Street, 235 Outlaws, Street Bikes and Street275. 8.80 Extreme bikes will also chase points for the 2020 season as they continue being part of the Pro Category section of the Schedule. The weekend will be capped of with 2 Dial-in car classes, Bikes and Sleds and Jr. Dragster racing.
New for 2020
We are considering adding the sportsman classes to our points structure; we’ve loads of requests to add a No Time class to our schedule; we are considering adding exhibition classes to a couple of our events.
On the schedule side of things, our focus is to try to secure bigger payouts and draw more entries. So the only way to schedule it properly is to set our goals on having 2 day/ 1 race weekends for all classes! This will ensure that all classes can get finished, payouts made, and awards handed out at each weekend – barring weather!

As always, this event will feature everything for the No Time heads up doorslammer enthusiast as well bring the best of sportsman racing under one roof! Classes at the event will include: Outlaw Extreme, Limited 28s, 235 Outlaws, Street Bike, Street275, Real Street, 8.80 Extreme Bikes, 3 dial-in classes for Autos and Bikes/ Sleds and Jr Dragster racing. 2020 will see the return of CANADA’S FASTEST STREET CAR SHOOTOUT – a we search to find the quickest 1/8mile street car in Canada! Also new and exciting will be the addition of Sunday’s No Clock Small Block Shootout! The schedule for this event will look like previous years with some slight differences. Friday testing will be followed with the regular Friday night TNT. Saturday will feature the complete No Time Heads Up event from start to finish, which the Sportsman classes will begin on Saturday and Sunday, ensuring all classes will be completed and get their proper payouts and awards!
Unfinished Business returns to NYIRP – Lancaster Dragway in August! Get ready for a great weekend of camping and racing as we strive to bring you a show that will top our efforts of 2019. All the same classes with a few surprises we have in store should keep everyone excited as we make press releases over the next few months!
The Fall Small Tire Shootout returns to Sparta… where it all started 8 years ago! 3 classes of No Time heads up racing will fill the day – Big Tire, Small Tire and real Street.
