The NDRA Sets the Drag Racing Schedule for the 2015 Extreme Action Season!
The National Drag Racing Association is revving up their 2015 Alcohol Funny Car Drag Racing Series season as 3 dates have been set and a 4th is in the works. Starting with a season opener to set the stage of high-octane
excitement on the May two-four weekend, May 16 thru to the 18. These 3 event dates will be held at the legendary Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
The second event date is set for the 6th annual Canadian Nitro Nationals where the NDRA Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars of Doug Cadman’s 73′ Dodge Charger, the “Chi-Town Hustler” and Gary Kraus and his “Pony Up” 72’ Mustang will join and add the extra adrenaline pumping Nitro power into the mix of the show-stopper action. Feeding fans eye-popping candy, to Nitro nose-stinging fumes and need for speed action!
The NDRA AFC season-finale event will be held Labor Day weekend September 5-7th with the added dual pairing of the NDRA Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars again; the half-track burnout king Gary Kraus’s 72′ Mustang “Pony Up” and the legendary “Chi-Town Hustler” Doug Cadman’s ground pounding 73′ Dodge Charger.
To watch these two race side-by-side with a total combination of 6,000 horsepower, and over 200 mph they are crowd-pleasing dual! Second to none!
The National Drag Racing Association is looking forward to another outstanding partnership season with
Toronto Motorsports Park owner, Uli Bieri and track Manager, Neale Armstrong.
Will Kardiac Kids Racing, Exeter, ON Tyler Scott be able to hold onto his NDRA 2014 AFC Championship Series title? Or will it be snatched away by the rest of the AFC cast, who are gunning for some fierce, yet friendly, competition. Will the younger generation be able to keep the title in their clutches or will the old-hands of the racing sport show them who’s boss?
Of course a newcomer to the cast, Wild West Racing Dana White, hailing from Calgary, AB has his sights set on acquiring the 2015 NDRA AFC Series Championship.
Returning to the scene of the proving battle-ground to add more enhanced thrill for the spectators is London, ON For Wheels Racing, Dylan Hache and his crew.
As well as Foxy Delivery Service Racing coming all the way from Kenmore, NY.
The contenders will be vying for the cash prizes, series points and braggin’ rights!
