PITTSBORO, N.C. February 12, 2015: With Cody and Cale Crispe managing the 660 ft stage where PDRA racers come to do their own unique brand of volatile entertainment, competitors breathe a little easier. The “Traction Twins,” as they are better known, bring a level of comfort and confidence to PDRA drivers and teams. The Twins’ expert track prep and watchful eyes ensure that the 200+ MPH machines of the PDRA have the safest racing surface possible on which to compete. Not just for safety, tracks prepared by the Traction Twins are sure to withstand anything the cars and bikes can throw at them.
It was imperative to PDRA management to have the Traction Twins join the team in their inaugural season. The growing organization is proud to announce that the Crispe brothers will be back with the PDRA for the 2015 season, as well.
“We are forced to consider the fact that this is a dangerous sport,” told PDRA Race Director, Bob Harris. “We put every safety measure possible in place, but the truth is there’s a lot that can happen in three and a half seconds. The PDRA is committed first and foremost to racer safety. That’s why we chose to pursue the Traction Twins again for the 2015 season. They are the best in the business at giving us a good, safe track capable of incredible performances. We’re very happy to welcome them back in 2015.”
Despite their youth, the Traction Twins come with years of experience over an array of track surfaces. They will be at every PDRA event in 2015, preparing and managing the track surface throughout the weekend.
“We are going to some of the best facilities in the country this year,” added Harris. “From Texas to Virginia and every race in between the Traction Twins should have a great surface to work with. We’re looking forward to seeing the competition level continue to rise, bringing the absolute best in professional eighth mile entertainment to each of our markets.”
