Elma, NY. – Bauer Racing will be taking their K100 Fuel Treatments sponsored Pontiac GTO and Chrome Works/Ultra Cars Dragster to the 4th annual Buffalo Motorama March 21-23, 2014.
Bob Bauer Jr’s 2009 GTO features a Torrelli Pro Cars built chassis (Lockport, NY), a five inch bore spaced 738 cubic inch displaced engine freshened by Jan-Cen Motorsports (Elma, NY) featuring 3 stages of nitrous oxide, an R and R power glide transmission (Olean, NY), with a BDR torque converter (Buffalo, NY). This car couldn’t be more “Buffalo Built” unless it was a Pierce Arrow!
Bob’s son, Robert Bauer III, is lucky enough to be able to get behind the wheel of one of the most beautiful racing machines on the planet, a Chromeworx/Ultra Cars 242 inch wheel base dragster. Robert’s digger was built with detail in mind. With 2014 being the first full season for the new ride she is sure to garner best engineered and best appearing awards as much as she does winner’s trophies. The dragster features a unique swing arm rear suspension with a single Penske shock absorber. Other eye catching features include Weld Delta 1 bead lock wheels, an MSD Power Grid Ignition, a one piece carbon fiber wing, duel brake system, and TONS of chrome and carbon fiber dipped parts. She’s a stunner, Ladies and Gentlemen! Even Jessica White has some competition for Buffalo’s best looking when this girl is around.
“The Buffalo Motorama has become the area’s premier indoor car event and we are proud to be able to represent K-100 Fuel Treatment with our racing team,” said Team Owner/Driver, Bob Bauer.
“We have high hopes for this year, especially in Quick 32 competition,” said Team manager, Michelle Bauer. “With Robert and Bob both running the Q32 series; we hope to be able to capitalize on the two car team aspect of professional racing. As competitive as it can be running a series as tough as the Q32, it’s also very rewarding to be able to do it as a family,” added Michelle Bauer.
The Bauer family would like to thank Joe Haniszewski Jr. and Sr. as well as their families for all the hard work they do putting on such a great event like the Buffalo Motorama.
The 4th annual Buffalo Motorama will be held March 21-23, 2014 at the Buffalo Convention Center. The 2014 Buffalo Motorama will showcase some of the best rides from WNY and outside of the area. Some of the vehicles on display will be direct from SEMA, the car show circuit, or from collections that haven’t been on public display for years.
