Charlotte, NC ─ WORX® WORXSAW 4-1/2 in. Compact Circular Saw and Pegasus Folding Work Table and Sawhorse make great holiday gift ideas for the handyman or handywoman. The lightweight and compact WORXSAW cuts through sheet goods without the bulk or heft of a full-size circular saw. Anchoring cutting operations anda more, the Pegasus Work Table and Sawhorse is a space saving work table that supports jobs and folds-up for tidy storage.
A hand saw is no match for a time-saving circular saw. Yet, not every project requires the use of a full-size circular saw. WORX WORXSAW weighs 4 lbs. and is up to 50 percent lighter than conventional 7-1/4 in. circular saws. This 4-1/2 in. Compact circular saw features a slim body design with an ergonomic grip for smooth and comfortable one-hand operation.
The WORXSAW cuts 2×4’s in a single pass. The saw’s bevel cutting capacity is 0-45°.
The saw has a 4.5 amp motor with a 4100 rpm (no-load speed) to cut through 1X and 2X stock and rip plywood sheets. The saw is easy to transport and provides great operator comfort, balance, and control.
Its 4-1/2 in., thin kerf blade is not as thick as the blade of a 7-1/4 in. circular saw. Since the smaller, thinner blade takes less effort and motor strain to cut through materials, it’s a go-to saw when cutting sheet goods and smaller jobs.
The compact circular saw features a left-handed blade design for greater cut line visibility. The depth-of-cut adjustment lever provides quick and accurate blade height adjustments up to 2 in. A pushbutton arbor lock provides fast blade changes. The WORXSAW has a 3/8 in. arbor.
The saw’s maximum cutting depth at 90° is 1-11/16 in. and its bevel capacity at 45° is 1-1/8 in. In addition, the WORXSAW has a dust extraction port and a 1-1/4 in. vac adapter for dust collection.
The WORXSAW Compact Circular Saw accessories include a 4-1/2 in. 24-tooth, carbide-tipped blade, vac adapter, parallel edge guide, and a hex key for blade changes. The saw has a 6 ft. power cord. The WORX compact saw has a three-year limited warranty.

When it comes to functionality, portability and convenience in a workstation, it’s tough to beat the WORX Pegasus™ Folding Work Table and Sawhorse. The WORX Pegasus functions as a work table and a sawhorse. Its combination of features include built-in channels to house two, 18 in. quick-clamps, plus table slots to hold four clamp dogs to secure workpieces. Pegasus has a 31 in. x 25 in. tabletop and supports workloads up to 300 lbs.
This innovative workstation is able to interlock with other Pegasus tabletops (optional) through Link-Lock, a method of connecting two workstations together. Combined, this expanded work surface area is handy for cutting 2x4s, sheet goods and other materials.
Plus, the addition of a second Pegasus creates two sawhorses with notched slots at the ends to load two, 2x4s. The 2×4’s help elevate 4×8 sheet goods, such as plywood for clamping and cutting. Once elevated, there’s clearance to prevent cutting into the sawhorse.
The Pegasus quick-clamps reside in the table top’s channels and secure wood for cutting, glue-ups or sanding. Their maximum clamping width is 18-1/4 in. For storage, the clamps can be locked in place beneath the table when Pegasus is used as a sawhorse.
Converting from worktable to a sawhorse is quick and easy. The tabletop’s extension wings are braced with struts. By releasing the struts, the table wings fold down and lay flat until converted back into the worktable. The Pegasus Work Table and Sawhorse weighs 35 lbs. When set up as a sawhorse, it supports loads up to 1,000 lbs. The work table’s height is 32 in. When folded for storage or transport, it measures 35-1/2 x 15-3/4 in x 6 in.
Other features include recessed tool cavities to hold fasteners, and frequently used tools, plus a folding tool tray at the base of the work table.
The WORX Pegasus Folding Work Table (WX051) is available at Amazon.ca. The work table is backed by the WORX three-year limited warranty.
