As a matter of fact, the era of muscle cars hadn’t even started yet, but it was just around the corner.
GIRL POWER – Sharon Thomas turned her $150 barn-find Malibu into a potent ProCharged big tire warrior! Sharon Thomas grew up around horsepower and racing. She would often watch her brother run his dragster when she decided to drive her new 2010 Synergy Camaro to the track to meet him one weekend.
RED ROCKET – This big inch big block Fox Body gulps enough nitrous to knock out a small town! The humble Californian got an early start as a young boy watching his uncle Baja racing. “He had a ’28 Ford truck that was in the magazines and was modifying Baja bugs and dune buggies and always took
the time to involve me,” Travers remembered.
THE BLACK QUEEN – This wicked jet black nitroused Colorado is certainly no princess! Puerto Rico is a hotbed for drag racing, not to mention a hot rod community rich in history and culture. During Rey’s childhood he would watch his family race some fast cars at both Salinas and Carolina Speedway in Puerto Rico and in 1999, Rey built a wicked small block powered Camaro of his own that ran deep into the 9-second zone on a small shot of nitrous oxide.
COYOTE MACH – This stock, class legal Mach 1 runs in the 9’s with no power adder! He was just 5 years old. “While playing in my grandparents’ front yard one day I heard a strange sound coming from down the road. It was loud then quiet, loud then quiet again. Suddenly it was loud again with a squealing sound and it was getting closer.
