The National Hot Rod Association has granted approval of Racepak’s SmartWire for use in the Pro Modified category, broadening the range of competition vehicle categories in which the SmartWire may be used . The SmartWire is a lightweight, high tech power distribution module that eliminates fuses and relays, simplifies wiring solutions and gives you the ability to program how you switch any electronically controlled device in your vehicle.
“The use of SmartWire and the technology it provides will allow racers and chassis builders a more simplified wiring option, as well as a faster and more technically advanced way of switching electronic devices, which can in turn provide benefit in both competitiveness and safety to the vehicle,” commented Todd Paton, Racepak’s Pro System and Sales Manager.
In addition to Pro Modified, Racepak’s SmartWire is currently approved for the following NHRA categories:
Competition Eliminator
Stock
Super Comp
Super Gas
Super Street
Top Dragster
Top Sportsman
E.T. Brackets
Racepak is providing contingency awards to the categories listed above with the exception of E.T. Brackets.
