The heads start as HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressed) castings. The HIP process significantly increases the casting’s density for improved tensile strength while drastically reducing the chance of failure due to fatigue. Trick-Alloy™ powdered metal valve guides provide excellent durability, heat resistance, oil retention, and better valve seal contact. Manley NK-844 Severe Duty and XH 432 Extreme Duty Inconel exhaust valves are proven to withstand extreme combustion chamber temperatures and big power adder performance.
