Welcome to December! The last issue of the year and the last issue of our 25th year! We hope that you have enjoyed reading the issues we put out during 2024 and look forward to more great features in 2025.
FEATURE CAR
DUSTED – David Robinson’s 1973 Plymouth Duster – David bought an old used-up ’73 Duster and turned it into a turbocharged Big Block drag strip terror! No stranger to cars, Robinson grew up watching his dad wrench on street cars, trying to make them quicker and faster with each new part installed.
FORGED IN FIRE – Spartan Fab’s turbocharged Mustang is ready for battle! New Holland, Illinois’ Blake Neeley has seemingly always found himself seeking thrills of all sorts Racing motorcross and 4 wheelers early on, Neeley later moved into the family melee that is demolition derby, which he thrashed, smashed, and crashed in for 18 years.
RETIREMENT PROJECT – Mark Hoffer’s Nitrous Big Block Pro Street ’67 GTO Just because the racing is done, that doesn’t mean the fun is. One variation of a Pro Street build is taking an old race car and putting it back to street duty, albeit while maintaining that racy appeal from it’s on-track heyday.
REPRINT EXTRA (Article first appeared in the August 2020 Digital Issue) – THE TEACHER – Auto Mechanics teacher Martin Girard holds lessons outside the classroom with his wild nitroused 5 speed Mustang! There’s no denying that the ox Body Mustang is one of, if not the most popular platform for drag racing.
RPM HIDDEN GEM
PROFESSIONAL GRADE – Strength. Speed. Stealth. Nature’s deadliest creatures are typically positioned high on the food chain because they possess the characteristics of a col-blooded killer. A mere glance is often all it takes to send shivers of fear straight through the spine of another hapless victim.
