Irwindale, CA (August 6, 2019) – Irwindale Drag Strip is pleased to welcome top grudge drag racer Al “Boogie” Roberson as the special guest for Thursday Night Thunder featuring “Thunder Struck” grudge races, kicking off on Thursday, August 8 at 8:30 pm.
Roberson begins his West Coast Media tour at the legendary Irwindale Dragstrip, 500 Speedway Drive in Irwindale this Thursday, which features exciting night drag racing by welcoming enthusiasts and the racers at the event.
Roberson, who lives in North Carolina, is a veteran grudge drag racer, having competed in a variety of grudge races with numerous race wins.
“I am excited to begin my West Coast Media tour at the Irwindale Drag Strip. I look forward to saying hello to everyone and checking out some great side-by-side racing at this Thursday’s Night Thunder / Thunder Struck event,” stated Roberson.
The Thursday Night Thunder / Thunder Struck grudge races deliver some of the best pool of fast cars in Southern California and keeping it legal and on the track.
