It’s hard to resist the come-hither sparkle of chrome plating—especially when it’s wrapped around some horsepower. That’s why Dynatech’s Chrome Drag Race Headers will appeal to even the most hardcore track hero.
Dynatech headers are made from 16 gauge steel and have 3/8 inch thick, CNC laser-machined flanges with raised ports for improved flow. Their downswept design gives exhaust gases a straight shot out of the cylinder head exhaust ports into the equal-length primaries. Exhaust gases travel several inches into the headers before hitting any bend, which boosts exhaust flow. Other features include port gussets to eliminate cracking and jig-located mounting tabs for the collectors.
Primary Tube Sizes Available
• 2 1/4 to 2 5/8 inch stepped, standard exhaust port spacing
• 2 1/8 to 2 1/4 to 2 3/8 inch stepped, standard or 4.84 inch exhaust port spacing
• 2 3/8 to 2 1/2 inch stepped, standard or 4.84 inch exhaust port spacing
Summit Racing also carries Dynatech’s High Velocity Merge Collectors to go with your new headers. The four into one collectors are 12 inches long and feature the optimum reduction angle to increase torque output and add 5 to 10 extra horsepower. Yes, they’re chrome plated too.
