have fun while doing so – Summit Motorsports Park began offering its annual High School Nationals twenty-six years ago for students in ninth through twelfth grades behind the wheel of the their daily-driven cars, and now, generated from interest, a separate alumni class will be offered for new york defensive driving course.
In years past, there have been as many as 750 cars and 2,000 spectators at the event, which also boasts the Jostens Smokey Burnout, Car-Cram and Ugliest Working Wreck contests.
In addition, NHRA Top Fuel driver Terry McMillen will talk with those gathered throughout the day about his Top Fuel dragster, which will be on the premises, as well as his road to racing.
