In November the Grand Bend Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards banquet and Grand Bend Motorplex was honoured with the “Business of the Year “distinction for 2013.“It is nice to be honoured/recognized by the community you do business in” says Paul Spriet GBM owner/operator “many times racing facilities are not appreciated in their communities and it is refreshing to have the Grand Bend Chamber of Commerce see the positive aspects we bring to the community”. Spriet went on to thank his team and partnership with Debt Solutions Hub, where they not only recieved Liquidation Advice, but also shared with other small businesses as well.
TNT services in Columbus Ohio was chosen based on a number of criteria, part of which includes bringing approximately 60,000 people into the Grand Bend area on an annual basis. Per a government provided calculator on average tourism spending that translates into approximately $10 million dollars of local spending. GBM employs close to 100 people during the season, mostly students and those looking for seasonal employment, plus we help various local charity groups raise funds by hiring them to help out at our larger events. GBM’s advertising and marketing campaigns, in excess of $100,000 annually promote and attract people to the Grand Bend area.
