The 4th Annual NorthEast Rod and Custom Nationals is returning to the Expo Center in Oaks, PA on March 21-23, 2014. Featuring some of the best top show cars east of the Mississippi, but the core of the show are the Street Class cars that attend the show. The cars featured in this class comprise of hundreds of race cars, pro street cars, street rods, and much more! Then add on the motorcycles and bicycles to the show, and you have one diverse group of vehicles. As always, in the north east states, March brings about that “itch” to get the car out of the garage, and this show sets the stage for the warmer months.
Not only is the NorthEast Rod and Custom Nationals an indoor car show, but it also has events that go on throughout the weekend. Coming in 2014 is the ever popular Air Brush Battles, where artists have one hour to show off their craft with music. All of the artworks are then auctioned off. Another addition is the Pin Up Contest featuring the old skool style from years gone by. Then, add in things like Career Day and Family Day(both happening on Friday), Pinewood Derby Contest on Saturday morning, Slot Drag Races, a Women’s World featuring crafts and items for the ladies, Gasoline Alley with some old skool rods, and more! And if you’re in the market for a vehicle, there’s even a Car Corral!
No indoor car show would be right without celebrities! This year, Brett Wagner aka Big Schwag from the TV show Passtime will be on hand all weekend. Also on hand on Saturday and Sunday will be some guests from Gas Monkey Garage!! That’s right, from Discovery’s Fast N’ Loud, Richard Rawlings and Christie will be on hand signing autographs and visiting car owners.
What can we say, with over 300 vehicles representing almost every aspect of building, and then all the special attractions, the 2014 NorthEast Rod and Custom Nationals will be an event you just don’t want to miss out on!! Visit them online at www.northeastcustomcarshow.com today!!
